I'd be happy if every trace of Islam was wiped from the face of the Earth. Any attempt to compare it with contemporary Christianity is the work of a retard.

You're clearly in the majority with that...

...as is borne out with the startling results of the poll re the election. Unfortunately most people prefer to air their frustration anonymously for reasons apparent in this thread. "Bright" Red, for instance, has completely given up any attempt atdebate andmoved straight for sneering personal discreditation.

    Why?

Have you ever visited a Muslim country?

I'm in Oman - a friendly, cultured, beautiful, interesting country. Where the people (Muslim) are some of the nicest, friendly, welcoming people of all the countries I visit.

i'd be interested in seeing the part of the trinidadian constitution that it contavenes

the article misses it out. must have been an expensive court case to eventually make it all the way to the final appeal which UK judges preside over. was it worth it?

    For years...

one of my mum's mates gave me Harley Davidson smellies for Christmas. I didn't want to smell like a bikie's armpit (and it did pong) but I didn't mention it because I didn't want to hurt her feelings. The same would have applied if she'd given me a cross. Ungrateful gets. Everyone's got to wear a garish jumper they don't like from time to time.

I don't know eh... next they'll be bannig the letter x cos it looks like a cross. Then we'll have to spell things like eggscellent, eggstra and eggsagerate. It'll happen, ar tell thi.

    "I AM SICK OF THIS"!!!!

Im not racist but Enoch Powell was spot on, this is not our country any more, we were all white, mostly christian or catholic country.... No, we are the minority, you darent hang a ENGLISH flag up cos your considered racist!!!

    WHY THE F**K NOT????????????????????????????????????????

Im English and im proud to be!!

We should have some kind of authority that goes around and asks people who are residents of Britain what nationality they consider themselves...If they say anything but the country they live in (such as living in England and they say Pakistani).....SHIP THEM TO THERE!!!!
If I moved to Australia and became a citizen there I would be EXPECTED to say im an Aussie!!

This country is gettig worse and with that idiot in power when Scotland have there own parliament too!!!!

EDWARD LONGSHANKS WOULD TURN IN HIS GRAVE!!!!!!

Its a total disgrace and as I said, Im not racist, but I am honestly thinking about voting BNP which I never ever thought i would say.

Spot on. The reason I vote English Democrats is because they are the only party with England issues at heart; as well as having a common sense manefesto.

I've stood for them in General and Local Elections in the past, and was certainly well received by all parties at the count with the exception of the BNP (no surprise there) and for some reason the Greens.

"we were mostly Christian or Catholic"

Since when was Catholic not Christian?

Also, Catholics have been very much in the minority since the time of Henry VIII, it's only recently that it has outstripped C of E and that is down to immigration.

Anyway, I'm pleased to hear that you'd like to ship my wife back!

No she doesn't, but I'm pretty sure that when she does she will still consider herself first and foremost an American.
