I have a vague recollection of him missing a penalty, a pathetically weak effort that barely made it to the keeper. At Oakwell, at the away end. I might be confused though, I often am.
My initial thought was Paul Hayes but seen Clarke mentioned in this thread and he is an excellent shout
Coolest penalty taker I've seen for the Reds. Also liked Gordon Owen, hardest hit pens, straight down the middle, if the keeper didn't move he'd end up in the rigging....
I was there for this one Lil. Old Goat is spot on. The keeper dived the wrong way but the penalty was hit so slowly, he had time to get back up and gather it in.
