The murdering piece of **** is ultimately to blame.

Society creates only the circumstances and opportunities for this vile excuse of a human being to do his murdering.
I admire these prostitutes; fallen on hard times, probably their own fault to some extent, but they are generally weaker than their clients and take so many risks they must be desperate. Looked down on by the establishment, seen by the media as a plaything for their own ends, looked down on by the general public, abused by some of their clients, some of them addicted and enslaved by pimps, at risk of disease and easy targets to anyone who fancies murdering somebody.
    Time for legalised brothels methinks.

Not sure what you're saying there mate............

....but I think you've been misunderstood. I don't think you're saying it's the girls' fault.

Are you saying the authorities aren't doing enough to remove the danger by arresting prostitutes and kerb-crawlers? If you are it's an interesting viewpoint.

The Inland Revenue should also be hitting them for not paying tax and national insurance.

Been out most of the day - not in hiding like

Firstly - I can work out, even in my semi-inebriated state, who is to blame for the murders.

That wasn't what I initially set out to ask.

I listed a few simple and fairly well known facts around prostitution and the happennings of the last few weeks and then asked

    "Who is ultimately to blame?"

There is a base of opinion that suggests such lasses are let down because they are not arrested from the streets and the market for kerb crawlers removed,

or that there is not a concerted enough effort to remove kerb crawlers anyway so that girls would have nothing to go out for,

And yes, there is also a suggestion that, in this dangerous age, when the rest of us have to be mindful at all times for our safety, people apparently are still willing to jump into a dodgy strangers car, at night, and be driven to an unknown destination for sex.

I thought it might kick off a decent debate about the various fundamental and often questionable elements that contribute to such tragic outcomes.

I now realise that was a bad idea.
