I listened to the game, we sounded absolutely **** for most of it. No denying that. But over 90 minutes we got a draw at a side flying in our division, on an unbeaten run. Yes, they could have scored 5 or 6, but they didn't. I see no point in stressing over what might have happened, and I'm choosing to focus on the positives which for me were the goals for Winnall and Berry which ought to give them belief, the fact we came from behind again, and the fact we didn't lose despite being without Cole (from the start), Ramage, Cranie and Jennings who I'd pick in my first XI if all available.

I'm not though ignoring the worrying aspects. Neither is Danny. He admitted it was appalling first half, and pinpointed the exact problems we are, suggesting our central midfield and defence were poor. But every day is a learning day. Lets hope Danny and his players have done and on Sunday we're better for the lessons of last night.

I also saw nothing like this on Saturday at Rochdale. We weren't amazing or owt, but the defence looked as solid as I've seen it all season, and contained two lads who didn't take part last night.

I'm keeping my chin up, staying hopeful, remaining patient. If we're dry loved by Bradford as we were by Swindon and MK then fine, I'll probably get a bit angry mad. :)

I'm just not in the business of seeing (then mentioning) every little negative thing that I can, whilst ignoring anything positive. Not saying you are either. But I think my review of Rochdale was a hell of a lot more understanding of our current situation than perhaps yours was. But then, maybe I'm just more accepting of our predicament and I don't have an issue with anyone who feels differently and would like to see things gel/happen for us a lot sooner that it is doing.

    Or summat.

I think yer reports are more objective now, but that aint always been the case.

Still worth a shuftie despite a bit long winded at times.

As I always say, I'm only young (ish) and still learning. And happy to learn. But I challenge you to go through everybody's posts on here, over three years or whatever and you'll see changes in their behaviour, hypocrisy in things they've said etc. It's an ever changing thing, life. Hard to remain exactly the same. And, in times of stress, or under the influence, folk on here say things they normally wouldn't.

But in general, I reckon I give a fair account of all things BFC.

That is so true, folks argueing the same points that they were defending under different managers/players, no challenge needed, as it was an opinion on your improvement with age.

Boom jeez lightening/thunder straight after nearly hed an heart attack.

    That's the worry for me.
It's a tough spell coming up for us and the likes of Peterborough and Bristol City will have a field day.
At least Ramage can come back in an organise them like he did at Rochdale.
    Hopefully!

I would love to post a match report of positives, but at the moment that isnt the case. I feel it fair to all fans who cant get to matches, to post the most honest report that i can. personally i thought rochdale had as many negatives as positives, which is why i made my half full/empty comment.
oldham on the other hand certainly had more negatives, so that is what i posted.
its so frustrating as i feel we have a very strong basis of a top 6 side, but its the tactics danny is currently employing that are stopping us. as ive said though, lets give him the full season and i do believe he will improve us.
incidently your comments are always balanced and interesting to read on here (i even mentioned you on my oldham report! :) ), as are the vast percentage of posters. its a very knowledgeable and understanding bunch of supporters we have!

Danny just needs to get the whole team to close the ball down, for the opposition to make mistakes and get us attacking as a team instead of one or two players. Simple this football management lark! :)
