    It is very different

    The club knows that the money is going to come if you are paying by installments whereas pay on the day customers may stop going in september.

    A club with 10,000 pay on the day customers can assume they'll all keep going but they cant be sure, a club with 10,000 pay by installment season ticket holders KNOWS that the money is coming and so can get loans etc or even go to a club and buy a player with promises of money coming at a later date (as happens more often than people realise)
