Yes, I care. I have kind of accepted that we will go down and have therefore stopped letting the constant run of defeats wind me up and get me down. This season is effectively a write off. I am looking to next season now and whilst in reality I cant see me not renewing I am really fearful that we will show that we have no clue and no plan and get rid of Wilson.

If Wilson goes and we put Mellon in charge then I could actually envisage not renewing and just paying on the day. Work and holidays have resulted in me missing 6 games this year anyway so I would hardly be worse off and its not like I would struggle to get a seat is it!

Yes and no. Of course I'm not happy about what we have to watch every week and it's all but nailed on that we are going down, but I'm actually perversely looking forward to the relief we'll feel when we finally do get relegated, because we've basically been watching a seven year relegation battle. I have very little time for football in general though and most of our players are starting to really irritate me. If we lose the next couple and fall 7 or 8 points adrift Wilson needs to boot the ones that aren't going to be here next year into the reserves (i.e. most of the ones that have got us into this mess) and use the remaining games as a trial to determine who to keep for next season.

I have given up all hope that this shower will find some balls and roll their sleeves up but I still care, I must do or I wouldn't be so angry. I just wish the players cared a fraction as much.

I couldn't care less and what interest I had has eroded away since the departure of Robins. I only come on here for a laugh and general discussion - I'm not even interested in talking about what is happening at Oakwell.

I have to say it has made things more bearable!!!!

Like most reds fans i am finding this season hard in fact i would say it hurts like hell but i will renew next season despite what league we are in. This club has given me some of the best moments of my life, premier league, Wembley twice and winning a final in Cardiff. I have seen us beat Liverpool twice Chelsea and Man City a number of times and even the great Man Utd or they were then, but yes at the minute times are hard however what is that down to. I believe the club is well run but the money some clubs in our league have at their disposal and the levels of debt being accrued we are struggling to keep up so should i pull my £400 quid out, will that help. Like a lot of us i find going to Oakwell a challenge some days and due to work and holidays i have missed 5 home games this year but for me i have to believe thing will get better, this club has been a constant in my life since the mid 70s i proudly proclaim to be a Barnsley fan to anyone who asks, yes the players have let us down but we are the club not them. Sorry for the proper fan rant but at times like these i think it is important we remember who we are fans of Barnsley football club which is never going to be an easy ride and it is one where the ups are less frequent than the downs but they feel sweeter for it. I hope every season ticket holder renews next season although i know that will not happen but by not coming we are also hurting the thing we love when we are needed most.

Yes I care and don't care what division we are in. In sone ways relegation will come as a relief most of the last 8 years gas been one long relegation battle with little change in sight enough is enough.

Promotion is not the "be all and end all".

I am totally disillusioned with the way the club is run from top to bottom. We never seem to learn from our mistakes, we never seem to progress (be that on the pitch or off the pitch).

So for me, getting a promotion wouldnt necessarily mean that I immediately get a ST.

Fair enough, but wouldn't a promotion be an indication that they were getting it right? The transition from relegation to promotion can only be helped by fans sticking with it.

Yes I care but I find that I recover from defeat quicker. For away games I'm not expecting us to get anything so upon seeing we were already 2 down early on yesterday I just didn't bother and had given up on it.Not going to let that ruin the weekend.
Been going regularly for about 35 years, season ticket for the last 20 years once I wasn't working shifts. In fact I first got season ticket I was still working shifts and when on Friday/Sat nights I'd get up at 2pm to get to Oakwell. 2 12 hour night shifts with only about 4 hours kip in between....can't see myself doing that these days. Used to swap shifts and take time off so I could go. In the 80's I was working near London and would finish a night shift at 8 on a Sat morning and drive up to go to the game.
Now I can't be arsed walking 20 mins to the ground!
Substantially reduced income from a year and half ago means I'm really going to have to assess if I want to renew...I enjoy getting together with the mates I go with, one of whom I probably wouldn't see much if it wasn't for the games, the other we'd probably use the money saved to do a pub crawl every other week!

Il always care but I'm not bothered. Life has far greater things to enjoy instead of pissing up £100 a week to watch a half arsed performance. Bring in next season when the players might actually give a ****

    I might do too then
