    Sorry to hear that Cazi. I lost my wonderful grandma last year, and my wife the year before that. Remember the good times, and that you were lucky enough to have the pleasure of your grandad well into your adult life. Take care.

    The worst thing possible in life

    I'm not scared of dying, but I am terrified of losing family and friends. I know it happens but words cannot describe the feeling of loss.</p>

    As a grandad myself I found your words very touching. Please accept my condolences on your loss. Try not to get too upset about not seeing him, he wouldn't have wanted you to be upset. As I said to my kids and my nieces when they were upset when my mother died "Celebrate the life, don't just mourn the death". Play "Tender" by Blur very loud, cry your eyes out, and prepare to move on.
