Of course. I dealt with very few People from the EU. Or Ascension States usually in connection with Tax Credit fraud. If you want it even simpler the vast majority 90% plus were born in the uk and not immigrants of any kind.

I can't argue with your experience, Jimmy, but benefit fraud is not the same as coming to the UK and claiming benefits without having contributed anything at all to the system. One is illegal, the other legal.

Where the real benefit problems lie.

 

There's benefit rats all round the uk, it's not just immigrants. Most immigrants do work, like the polish, they do jobs lazy Brits don't want or think there above the job. It's immigration law and too lenient on immigration, that's what I have a issue with.

 

It interests me peoples views on immigration. All independent research shows immigration benefits our economy.

I have a mate who works as a genealogist in the states brilliant guy. He could probably source the family tree of most people who consider themselves to be true Brits back to their country of origin. He traced my ancestors back to France ( I know the shame) . We are a migrant race. Always have been.

 

Had mine traced, the furthest I got was been Scottish on my mums side and Irish on my dads, which explains the ginger beard and slightly African sun set hair colour lol. Are lass on the other hand is half Hungarian, and had French, German, in her family, she is some breed haha

 

Some immigrants are very hard workers , but I would like to see figures showing crime rates involving immigrants.

My business was broken into in the summer and I had £30,000 worth of stock stolen. This is what the local paper said: "Arturas Mazuras, 35, of Dallow Road, Luton, and Juriji Gurskij, 31, of no fixed address, have each been charged with seven counts of theft and one of criminal damage".

Of course, they may be second or third generation Brits. But then, they may not be. What I do know is that I am financially poorer for it, and my insurance premium has more than doubled because of it.

Are immigrants or even 2nd or third generation immigrants more predisposed to criminality.? Given the make up of the prison population http://www.irr.org.uk/research/statistics/criminal-justice/ there can be some backing to this argument. It would be investing to some original research in this area but it's quite thin on the ground.

 

From research my dad had done he had traced back to 1700 all uk based my mate took it back earlier to find the French connection. His professional view us that there are virtually no people of pure Celtic stock left who are the only true British people.

 

the prison population is what it is because these people have commited crimes,not because there isn't enough immigrants sitting as judges.

I have skim-read some bits but haven't found anything on crime rates amongst migrants.

The study was published in 2007, and the stats go up to 2005, so it is a little out of date now. Plus it seems to be about how migration affects London.

 

I take it you gave the empirical evidence to back up this assertion. Like I said I cannot locate any myself. It seems an area of scant research but then again if you gave found some to make such a definitive statement hats off.

what evidence do you need?,they commited the crimes and now they are doing the time.I'm sure the racial equalities people would argue differently,but if these people hadn't done the crimes then they wouldn't be in prison.

 

Ar, those feckin Anglo-Saxons; coming over here, taking our jobs, re-naming our towns and villages, introducing foreign food and customs etc. A fat lot of good that did our nation.
