    Agree with you Bri. The Dave. folk are referring to. If I’m correct. I’ve never known him other than polite when I’ve spoken to him. And the accusation appears out of character. Hope this is wrong. And if so, unforgivable if people are basing it on assumption. This could ruin someone's reputation.

    I'm obviously sorry to hear about some significant troubles in the guy's life and didn't realise he'd been compared to Gallagher before and it'd caused trauma - I didn't consider this when I posted last night, when I was just depressed at what I'd heard.

    I know what I heard - there were two lads, clearly had plenty to drink, the other (big lad with a shaved head) was definitely worse than your pal but both clearly and loudly mentioned "them lot coming across ont fkin dinghies" multiple times and said they'd had bother getting into places "because they were English." Then there was the "spearchuckers" comment which I'm pretty sure was the other lad.

    It was just sad to sit through and made me ashamed to be from the same place/support the same team. I wish I'd said something but you never know how people are going to react to being challenged and I'd have been very wary about going to other away games after.

    Is this dave a tall fella? I've sat within close proximity to them on way to away games in past never said anything racist but I don't know them well enough to say if they are or aren't racist.
