RE: Again the board are learning from mistakes of the past.

Does that mean the Club's talking to Ritchie & Holden about extending their employ ?

RE: How come you never reply?

If you read yesterday's replay, then you would know that I have.

When did I say that I was not doing so?

    If that is the case...

then Seth Bennett is a liar.

And does that mean that you do know?

    Your tone sounds like TT

Do you ? All Redstar is doing is putting forward his views and a concern that Ritchie may be lured away by a rival club if he is not tied in with a longer contract. This is a concern I also feel and is shared by many others on this board. If you know more details please share, otherwise I feel it is unfair to be dismissive of Redstar's point of view.

I didnt say that they were talking, I just said we dont know what goes on behind the scenes. Most clubs seem to be wanting to speak about managers contracts later in the year.

Our neighbours down the road are taking a similar stance.

What if we lost 30 games in a row? Fans would be saying time for a change etc.

Especially when the concern is based upon an article in the...

matchday programme, that seems to infer that AR has expressed his dissapointment to the press. But still, we don't know what goes on behind the scenes.

    I can't see that happening..

and as Dirk said, AR and RH should have faith shown in them, reagrdless of the outcome of this season. You can quote me on that. You are right that we do not know what happens "behind the scenes" but this concern has arisen form an article in the programme. Should we ignore that article? Pretend all is rosy for AR? He's clearly concerned enough to speak to Radio Dee Dah about it...

Don't talk silly. Ritchie and Holden deserve extended contracts on the basis of what they've done and are obviously building. If we adopt the Dave Allen stance with them then we deserve to lose them. The last thing this club needs is uncertainty over the manager's future.

I wasnt being dismissive. All I was saying was that none of us know what may or may not be going on behind the scenes.

It was a very short pre-season and break and both parties may have been a way, who knows?

I am sure that if the management team continue to win games then discussions will take place.

If our start continues (or even if we drop off) there's every chance that another club could be in for AR before the end of the season. Leeds is my guess.

    That's fine then.

Just to re-iterate. I have purchased my season ticket.

As always I am optimistic and said before the season that I was fully behind everyone at the club and that we will do well this year. My stance has never changed.

If club chairmen considered whether their clubs might lose 30 games in a row no manager would ever get a contract.

That is not in doubt. I am fully behind AR and the players. He's doing a great job and I hope we can get him tied to a longer deal, or at least one taht guarantees the club a decent pay off if someonelse comes for him.

In all honesty, I can't recall expressing that I was not going to purchase a season ticket on here. Perhaps I did. In any case, I have and am very happy with doing so.

    Difference is..

Dave Allen is a knob and GS has more sense than him.

Good. We can be the 12th man this season in our survival quest. Things look positive and the club are making progress.

    Agreed..

I also hope that if things do go wrong and we do go down that AR is given the chance to correct it and bring us back.
