Barnet, Hammill, Michael Nardiello were all in the same youth set up.

Danny Nardiello signed for us/walked away innumerable times (I've lost count!). He's Michael's brother and Shuker's bezzie mate, holiday's together etc. Chances are they might just have come across each other don't you think?</p>

    hmm

I think Nardiello would give a good reference for the club. He was praising Davey prior to being lured to QPR on big money. I doubt he now thinks he made the right decision.

His experiences and those of Kay and Shuker are 12 months to two years out of touch. Hammill, not being a BFC player and with most recent experience of Oakwell, would most likely give an objective view.

Academic like because I doubt we will be after him.

Reading views of Liverpool & Tranmere on the lad, it sounds like he could be worth signing.
Technically good with an eye for goal. What have we got to lose? His contract is up and he'd cost nothing.

Compensation. But no idea how much that would be.

I'd like us to sign British or players that have been over here a while next season

Not saying many of foreign legion have let us down, but a few have.

Colace, Anderson, Boggy look to have no problem settling into Championship, Leon El Hamouir not upto it

Would be nice to add some grafters who aren't afraid to get grass burns on their chins and walk off with a completely different colour shirt to what they took to field in lol

Some good players at League 1 imho, i defo think likes of McCann and Togwell could have played a part still in a Championship squad, especially with extra quality around them in current team
