thas got a point

nardiello makes a run, midfield hangs around a bit, waits a bit longer, has a quick look round, fastens shoe laces, looks at mcphail just to check like see if they can make an easier pass and then releases the ball to nardiello who by this time is miles offside.

RE: Oh aye - 30 goal a season hit man pff

As opposed to what? a STRIKER with nearly a full season under his belt and a return of 6 goals in the league, Nardiello has'nt been given anywhere near the encouragement that Hayes has recieved, and yet, here we are grieving, because a 6 goal striker is injured, don't bother coming back with "assists", he's paid to score goals, thank god Howard's been there to carry the big useless sod, him and Richards would not be missed from now to the seasons end.

RE: His goals will be missed, 1 in 20 odd, glory will belong to NARDIELLO!

    What about his assists?

Or dont they count because he's a "striker"

He's the most creative player we've got at the club, and his assists have played a big part in our season.

I'd rather have Hayes upfront then Richards or Wright

Of course he should assist, it's a team game, but come on, he's got to score as well, we all agree a proper striker would have got us up, without enduring this scenario of the playoffs.

He's paid to play football! His sole purpose isn't just to score goals! Are you annoyed that Brain Howard is scoring goals rather than setting them up then? seeing as though he's not 'paid to score goals.' Why does it matter who scores the goals anyway? If Hayes is creating chances for others then his place in the team is justified. He hasn't been scoring recently but the midfield has and it's been enough to get us on the verge of the play offs so stop moaning about the strikers lack of goals and look at the bigger picture! We are a poorer team without him!
