would be a terrible apointment He has had so much say and so much input into this season already what the heck would it prove or improve
So Paul Walker has suggested that it's the caretaker managers job to lose? Shock, horror. Isn't that always the case? Problem is, I can't see us getting a result at Brighton, nor Burnley. But were we to win both then obviously he'd be in the driving seat. Good luck to him.
How about if he does a good job while in caretaker charge and earns a crack at it then people support him. His record as a manager is better than a lot of thoese being mentioned as possible candidates.
You are all forgetting the most important factor in all this. The players. If they want to play for Mickie, they will. If they don't, they won't. I don't see this situation as at all motivational. Not with what has gone before. It will take someone coming in from the outside and players playing to impress and for their careers. If the club expects lightning to strike twice, that is a massive gamble. And not where I'd put my money. Wilson's the man.
from look north earlier today, I,m just stepping out I may be gone for sometime, I may step into my library:frown:
how do any of you know what mellons like wait till after the brighton game to see who he picks and how he plays.
They've obviously got a plan for Mickey Mellon, it's not many weeks ago the board refused a lower league team (I'm sure it was Forest Green) permission to speak with him for their managers position.
