    anyone know this one then?

    my mum's partner has a carpet shop, his office in on the shop floor where he sits to do paperwork etc, but has a tv in there (for which he has a tv licence)</p>

    he's been told he needs a music licence 'cos his customers might hear music on the tv - even though it's in the office.</p>

    anyone know if that's right!?! surely they're taking the p*ss ????</p>
