I agree with that. Certainly his last start. He might get thrown on for the last 10 if we're chasing a game I suppose.
Cheers for that. Not a true assist then. Tried to buy a penalty in my opinion. Turned into a 'fortuitous' assist. Not that I'm complaining. I thought he was poor today, first time I've seen him so below par for England. But involved in the winner nonetheless.
Me too though to suggest Martin could shoot was stretching the point a bit. He could hit a worldy occasionally but generally he's shooting was as consistent as Donald Trumps opinions all over the shop. I genuinely believe that Bullock was as good as Sterling.
Well yes, but I was speaking as someone who was living away at that time so didn't get to see much of him but the bits I remember did include the odd decent shot at goal. Probably about as rare as Lloyd Isgrove's career goals tally
Not a true assist are you having a laugh. He blatantly cryuff turned it into the path of Sturridge. If Hourihane or Hammill did that you'd be saying how fantastic the assist was. We had no problem counting Hourihanes pass to Hammill as an assist at Wembley.
