    Done some bonkers things.
But looking back - none of them were done brilliantly - and none of them am I proud of now.

Wed once been out to the night owl at brierley and decided to get back to town to go to the nighclub. Got to regents and bouncers not letting us in so we jumped straight back in taxi to hedonism. Got there and bouncers again not letting us in cos it was late and they were being complete arseholes with us. So i went around back and fire door was unlocked.went in and up the stairs and ut came to door next to dancefloor. Anyhow bouncer was stood like drago next to door surverying the area. I saw him look away and i was in. Sat at a table and saw my mates faces giggling thru the glass and im guesturing stop cos bou cer was looking. Then he looked away again and waved em in. We went up and sneaked in vip room and even managed to get a beer. Anyway at end we walked down to main entrance and said to bouncer cracking night in there pal and atraight away he knew it was us and went off his head so we legged it. Proper funny at the time giggling away like school kids

Long time ago we worked in Silvers/Whispers, so could get it for free. Mates birthday over Christmas - had a few then went to Whispers but decided for a change and went to Visions. Paid to get in, only it was dead - which was bad enough, so we went to the bar and there was nobody serving. Mate noticed the pumps were still on, and helped himself to a free pint - only for the bouncers to see and throw us out. Only five minutes I ever spent in the place.

On my 21st, we had a small party in our house and my mates kept topping my drink up (Blastaways!). About midnight we went to the local nightclub. I was there for about 10 minutes when started to feel a little queasy. Nothing I could do and I was sick on the toilets, the dancefloor, the bar, the stairs heading out and two of the bouncers. Never felt so rough as I did the next morning.

My god Selwyn, thats a name I havent heard for 40+ years. I remember being at a chilly night game v Scunthorpe and Selwyn turned up in his Steel toecapped work shoes. He was spotted by the Police as he made his way through the turnstiles who promptly confescated the weapons for the evening. Cue, Selwyn walking around the ground for two hours in his stocking feet very non plussed.

Well whatever it was it wasn’t related to me !!!
I had someone on here the other day saying I had hit someone on the head with a shovel - again I don’t know where people get these daft stories from.

I’ll tell you one little snippet.
And I know some are going to get peeed off about it because it concerns drinking and driving.
But this was at a time when it was more or less ok to drink and drive.

I was with one of mi cousins Mick.
We had a skin full in Donny - nearly all daft stuff involved drinking.
Anyway we called at a Chinese chip shop late on.
Mick gets out and stands in queue of about 6 people.
I’m sat in the car outside for about half an hour - and got bored - so I decided to go into the shop in the car to pick him up.
Like I said - not proud of it now - we used to
get so drunk we didn’t know what we were doing.

From what I can remember RT she left ITV where she was a presenter on their tea time regional news
show Calendar and joined the BBC on an extremely lucrative contract to do a similar job on Look North.

She was at some point going forward, apparently presented with a bill by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs
for unpaid tax. After that she was seemingly suspended by the BBC who cited " a disciplinary issue" as the reason
and she left the Corporation around 2013.

Since then she's gone freelance and has on occasions featured on Calendar as an independent presenter.
From what I can gather her main job these days, is as a columnist in the Yorkshire Post. I once took a group
of kids to watch a live programme at Yorkshire TV's HQ on Geldard Road. Saw Christina in the bar with some
of her co- presenters. She looked very attractive on TV, but seeing her close up that night, have to say, she looked
    positively stunning.

I think we may know each other. I was also at XI form at the same time as John Mayock and sat in maths with a Scoff from Dearneside way. Is that you?

Great Houghton, but a lot of my mates were Darfield/Dearneside/Thurnscoe when I started there. So probably :)

Your job definitely requires a lot more care than most. One of my best mates is a teacher not too far from Barnsley. I remember on my stag do in Sheffield not long after he qualified, he was absolutely bricking it that he'd meet one of his 6th formers in Gatecrasher!

When we were in the premier league i went to liverpool to watch us at anfield a week early by accident. Thought guy at ticket office gave me a blank expression when i picked tickets up saying we were setting off this aft and was surprised how quiet it was and loads of tickets left, then didnt see another car with bfc scarfs or owt... got 3/4 of way there and it came on radio about internationals and i got my mate to pass me tickets for the date and yep we were a week early! Lol

anywhow not to let an opportunity go to waste we still went to liverpool, got some digs and had a cracker of a day sess and night out. Dunno how we dint get our heads kicked in taking piss out if scousers in the cavern.

Went back the week after with my girfriend at the time and went on to blackpool for the night out afterwards.

I turned up at the ticket office for my Swansea City play-off final tickets a day early. I'd booked at day off work and set off to Barnsley at 6am to beat the rush only to find no queues. I waited for a while for someone arriving at the club to tell me they went on sale the next day.

My second year of sixth form, I had the normal maths & mechanics lessons, with 2-3 extra hours per week of remedial mechanics with the first year combined maths students after managing to fail the end of first year mock *twice*. (I passed the maths second time but got the same low 20% mark in mechanics *twice*). Scraped an E in the end, then did a physics degree and finally understood mechanics at the third attempt and even started to enjoy it once we stopped doing anything with numbers...

Forgot it all years ago though.

I had that worry during my secondary school placement when I went out round town at the weekend. Not sure why I couldn't have just gone a few weeks without going out until it ended but I clearly didn't think that was an option at the time. I've seen quite a few parents of primary school kids whilst out in Bradford. Not as bad as one of my mates getting chatted up the night before parent's evening though. That wasn't awkward for everyone involved at all!!
