    I'm off to Shetland on Sunday to visit my daughter and grandchildren.

    Only a 14 hours jaunt over the North sea/Atlantic Ocean.

    Jordan (the country)was great a few years ago but a bit unnerving at times. Drove from San Fransisco to San Diego which was fantastic. Had a couple of weeks in Valencia and surrounding area which I'd recommend . Going to Croatia this year for a couple of weeks driving about

    Just booked Croatia again for the 4th year on the bounce - different places each year. Love the place.

    Would love to get out and about in a car at some point but it never seems to happen.

    I'd say the Hockey is better in the US looking at this years standings!

    i do agree with that but in canada the thing is. Knucks and the Flames are **** compared to the powerhouse that is Toronto

    Spent just under a year in India doing voluntary work well off the tourist circuit if you ever get the chance to do anything like that do it. An amazing and humbling experience. Rajasthan is an especially great state to vist as are the Sundarbans.

    Malaysians are absolutely fantastic people if you get the chance do the overnight sleeper to Singapore absolutely fantastic. Penang is ok a bit dirty but cool. Good monkey temple near George Town if youre into that sort of things. The islands in Malaysia are the thing though abosolutely beautiful

    Cuba is a fantastic place. If you are going,get there soon, because when those fecking Yanks start to go,they will ruin the place,just like they have with Cancun and they are are starting on Playa Del Carmen too in Mexico.
