Disappointing end but good point ...... will only get better and was miles better than Tuesday......load of rubbish saying we were crap second half...... we were a knots from a 3 nil away win!,,......give up moaning

 

Fantastic first half and beyond poor second half, definitely a game of two halves and does feel like a loss. Lots to work on, credit to Warbuton as he did what good managers do and changed things, we changed things and made it worse. Not sure what Cole brings to the game? Gutted at that second half performance.

 

Both were booked and Palmer looked injured when he went off

 

First haif gives me hope more than I had on Tuesday coming away from Oakwell.

Think the moving of the centre halves was part of our problem re the goals

 

It was more like four centre backs with that performance Kitching put in. Feels like a defeat.

Gutted to draw a game that so many were predicting a hammering. Some of our football was a sheer delight in that first half. Dead chuffed for Cauley to get his 50th goal for us. Once we get our unavailable players back, I think I'll enjoy watching this team.
Palmer was my MOTM. Pity about him picking up a knock.

 

So it's took a clear offside goal and an equaliser scored by a player who should probably have been suspended to level with us. A point away at QPR is probably something the majority would have taken before the match started.

We do need a CM in for cover if Kane is going to be out longer though.

yep finished with 2 centre halves in midfield. QPR looked like they would score every attack last 20 mins and we defending zero right side. We cant last 90 mins in the centre and have no options to cover. So if we think our squad especially midfield has enough cover then today should be a wake up call.

 

Disappointed yes, happy with the first 60 mins, last 30 mins we could not cope with the qpr change of tactics. Their first goal was offside, ref gave us nothing and so as everyone was writing us off pre match I will take the point and move on but the football in the first half was fantastic.

 

I can't understand people banging on about how they would have taken a point. That's just negative. Adjust your expectations as the match proceeds. 0-2 up after 76 minutes and failing to win the game is criminal. No excuses.

 

Not sure about downing tools, but Warburton seemed to make the better managerial decisions about the subs and what was needed in the 2nd half.

 

A fair result they made more passes had more shots on goal. We had our chances to score more poor passing and finishing let us down. They may feel unlucky not to win it.

 

Would have gladly taken a 2-2 draw if offered before the game, but after that first half it’s a real shame.

On the positive - first half was great, and hopefully a sign of more like that to come. Like last season, we want the opposition to be a bit fearful of us and on the first half performance they will be.

Were you watching? Yes we missed two gilt edged chances. But the second half performance was absolutely woeful.

 

Im not sure any manager could make any better decisions looking at our bench. It must be worrying for Schopp to start all his midfield options knowing at least 2 cant go longer than 60 mins

 

Tbf he had better choices to make those decisions though
