Rate the Manager

Always makes me laugh that, everybody says the word 'Out', straight after Jim Iley's name lol.
He can't have been that bad, can he ?.

 

He was manager for a few years though

After the good years we'd had under Norman in the early 80s, I thought the club were very harsh in sacking him when they did.
Admittedly that was our most disappointing run of games under him, and we were looking over our shoulders at the bottom 5 then. But he did deserve better than that.
And as somebody else has mentioned, Bobby Collins then came in and did an underrated job of keeping us competitive, at a very difficult time financially.
