That was the last day of the season though, and the result was only allowed to stand once once it was confirmed that the result would have no bearing on the final league standings. Allowing yesterday's 0-0 to stand would open up a huge can of worms. Even allowing a 3-0 Port Vale win would throw the integrity of the competition into question. Imagine Port Vale stay up as a result of the forfeit win. Or Reading stay up on goal difference. Who's to say that they wouldn't have lost the actual match 5-0? At this stage of the season, the match categorically has to be played, even if it's behind closed doors.
Don’t want Reading wound up. We lose 3 points if that happens during the season and they do have genuine fans. By rights they probably are a 3rd or 4th tier club but they need to lose their current owner. Maybe drop a league or 2 and regroup like Blackpool Pompey or even Luton How Dai Jonng passed the EFL fit an proper test is a mystery
I don’t want them wound up either. Clubs of their ilk that get propelled up the league by owners throwing cash at them tend to find their natural level when it dries up.
I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums Oh, what a shame that you came here with someone So while you're here in my arms Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young We're gonna Dai Yongge We're gonna Dai Yongge Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna Dai Yongge
Was always going to happen at some stage. (Although I think it does more damage than good) I don't know how many games they have had tennis balls thrown onto the pitch. But I'm guessing every game since and including us.
I wonder how many of those protesting now, were more than happy to go when they were buying unfair success and it was working?
Imho...the fa have to punish them big time we get threatening words for standing up in our seats in a match! Thing is if we look like we are going to lose a game (not just us)....just invade the pitch and get a replay ....simples
This. Its got to be more than the 3 points they'd have lost anyway. There should be some way of getting at the owner, but as the efl are the ones who passed him as "fit n proper", they are largely to blame for the fans ire.
