Well said mate.. either that or raking it in on dole Some of those ***** never worked a day in their lives! Still claiming though.
I would suggest the 'real fans' are the people who have a genuine passion for BFC I'm a student living in Leeds with no car and have to work most saturdays, had a season ticket for most of my life before going to uni and cannot wait till i have a bit of coin and can get back to oakwell on a regular basis. I check this forum every day and the terrible official site and for people like me who struggle to get to games it is important to find decent coverage. Can remember when i was at school and would refer to myself as a 'real fan' because i went to all the games, paying with my paper round money to go to oxford away but i realise now that people having other commitments doesnt make them any less a fan.
I can only assume the disco part of your name refers to the school disco ...otherwise theres no excuse for a fecking stupid statement like that
Feel free to swap places with me for a season If you really want to get into the whole "real fan" argument.
You're talking out of your arse !!!!!! When I lived close enough to Oakwell I went to every game, but now I've moved away because of my employment, so can't get I'm classed as not being a real fan. To say you remember Derek Parker player you talk like a 12 year old. Lucky you getting to all the games, but don't tar everyone with the same brush as glory seeking supporters, cos people on here are totally loyal to the club, they buy merchandise from the club, they wear their colours in foriegn lands and have the right to be able to listen to live commentary. Arsehole !!
In the cold light of day I can't get my head around so many negatives. It seemed to make perfect sense last night.
I go to all the 'Home' games but But struggle to get to 'Away' games being disabled. I do however like to keep up with the games, away, and can't think of a better way than Radio Dee Dah. I am aware that they have a tendancy to favour the two Sheffield Clubs but thought we got resonable coverage last season, as did Rotherham, Chesterfield, Doncaster. The sooner BFC settle their differences with Radio Sheffield, the better for us 'proper fans' (doh) (doh)
