I named my dog Archie after Owen Archdeacon. Also I used to referee Mick McCarthy when he played for Barnsley Boys Club as a young lad in central defence. I remember they used to get the ball, give it to him in the back line, then he used to just run through the entire opposition team, barging the kids out of the way before blasting home. He was at least 8 feet taller than any other player on the pitch. Most games ended in double figure scores.
kicked about with Sinisa Savic, paul Bagshaw, Adam Pollock ( Nicky Eadens bro in law ) Charlie Hancock (ant kays bro) gav bassinder, I have a pint now and then with Gordy Owen and Carl Airey and last but not least Pat Cryne owes me £1-50
