Geoff Horsfield - Contract expired at W.B.A and Loan finished at Sheff United. Don't know if they have plans to take him to the prem, but is a Barnsley lad and would give us a bit more strength up front. Also has experience of higher level football.

    Horsfield or Kyle?

Kevin Kyle's contract is also up at sunderland, apparently they will have an investment of money next season so doubt kyle will be kept on. Would probably be cheaper than Horsfield as he had an awful season last year. Would still add a bit of needed steel to our strikers.

I assume that Watford play 1 up ,

this would leave Chopra behind Marlon King.

Have to say i rate Kyle a lot higher tahn Conlon. Kyle contributed sgnificantly to Sunderland getting promoted twice out of the division we are in next season. Think somone in the mould of Kyle or Horsfield would perfectly compliment the strikers we already have.

we would need someone to cross the ball for him to be effective,

and as we dont have anyone that can do that I wouldn't waste my time.

We need some pace on the pitch from somewhere.

RE: we would need someone to cross the ball for him to be effective,

Devaney can cross a ball, his delivery brought about Hayes' goal at Cardiff and his cross should have given Reid the winning goal when he headed over the bar in the last minute. We already have pace in abundance with Nardiello, Hayes, Shukur and to a lesser extent Richards. What we are clearly lacking is someone to hold the ball up. We will not get away with playing the ball over the top in the Championship. We will be under pressure in a lot of games next season and somone like Kyle or Horsfield that can bring the ball down and take the pressure off the defence is crucial.....Horsfield and Chopra would be nice :)

Or from Swanseas team that Left back who missed the pen looked half decent.

    Chopra

Then a sweep of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal's youth teams (theo walcott anyone ) for some tasty youf prospects
