    Interesting

I was just wondering whether he's on Simon Davey's radar as a possible solution for our problematic wide left position?

i agree, if we want to go places, taylor is exactly the type of player we should be signing.

    Is £1M a realistic fee

For someone so young who has never played above the third tier of football? Wouldn'tsomething about half that figure, with add ons for appearances/goals etc. be more appropriate? I'm not saying the lad isn't a good player, but £1M does seem an awful lot of money even for the likes of Wolves & Sheffield United.

We can mould him into the player we want and we could get a good ten years for our value if he's good enough. He's pretty lightweight so gets kick around alot, which equals plenty of free kicks.

    because

Brian doesn't post very often but when he does they either contain very reliable bits of info or talk a great deal of common sense. DB3K posts hundreds of posts every day most are just a wall of noise so when he occasionally says something sensible no one gives it any credibility.

    nah mate

your depth of football knowledge is far greater than mine, so I tend to try winning football arguments with the 5 year olds on here rather than the maturer end

Think back to the Charlton away game

Stahlrost & myself were chatting away as we were leading 3-0. I pointed out that we did the same in 1985 and ended up losing 5-3, with Ron Futcher scoring a hat trick and then getting sent off. Stahlrost insisted we'd been losing 3-0, pulled it back to 3-3 and then lost 5-3. We made a bet on who was right, with the loser paying to the victor a meal and bottle of champagneat the Dil Raj.
