RE: I'd prefer to be entertained with good football every match too But i can accept that clubs have highs and lows, and that as a fan who loves this club i can help a bit by encouraging players during a match.
RE: So you think the boo boys hurling abuse after 20 mins are entirely blameless? Who? You mean Chopra who was given the opportunity to carve out a career at Barnsley and without his spell here would have moved to Sunderland on £40k a week so soon? Admittedly his initial reception was out of order but his spell at the reds did him much more good than harm. Thanks to his talent and thanks to the manager at the time for sticking with him along with the MAJORITY of fans that didn't get on his back. If only Davey would give Mostto a chance like Chopra got under a previous manager.
We've got some idiots But no more than any other club. Go on any football forum for any other club in the country and you'll find posts similar to yours slating the home crowd. It's not a Barnsley disease, it's a football disease. Just listen to any radio football phone-in and you'll hear how negative fans of other clubs can be. It doesn't happen very often, but if you're fortunate enough to witness a Barnsley away win then you'll hear a crescendo of boos from the home fans. We're not missing out on any players or managers because of our support. I can absolutely assure you of that.
RE: I knew it'd be the fans fault eventually. why not so far hes blamed the refs the players bad luck everything but himself and his assistants he had to branch out sometime
