Where have you got that rubbish from? Which sky game was on at 3pm today? Since when were sky even allowed to show premier games live at 3pm on saturdays?

I don't have sky, so wouldn't know. The point was tv dictating kick off times, rather than covering a scheduled match.

No, I figured I wouldn't. I had the option of hiding from the score until the highlights at midnight but I couldn't be bothered. The FA Cup is a bit like one of those "reality" TV music / "talent" competitions - only really interesting when there's still a smattering of no-hopers and surprises still in it (one could argue that Wigan are surprise winners but they're still a Prem team).

You are over-thinking. I made a casual assumption that was the reason, which should describe how little of a **** I care about the whole subject. I hope this reply ticks your boxes.

I just thought catching up with Storage Wars Texas from History channel was a better choice on Sky Plus. Season 2 started last monday and to start it off they had a new episode every night till friday. I'd rather watch Jenny Grumbles than Carlos Tevez. The two teams playing in the final didn't appeal to watch it either. I didn't miss much anyway a late sneaky 1-0 win. Just like the championship play off semi final first legs it was talked up and failed to deliver.

I absolutely loved that Wigan won it, but a good game? I don't think so...

Do you think that it still would have been a good game if Man City had scored that late winner instead of Wigan?

I thought it was a game generally devoid of excitement until the last 10 minutes or so. Wigan took the sting out of City, kept the ball well but rarely looked threatening. City were poor, because Wigan's game plan worked a treat. Clever, savvy but not 'good' from this neutral's point of view.

Poor game, poor ko off time (I was making and eating tea while it was on), great result though.

I think (don't quote me on this) that if the UEFA Champions League Final is to be played at the stadium, then no event should be played for 14 days previous.

May explain why we have a crazy situation where FA Cup Final is played before league finishes?

    Football world gone crazy...........

I thought the game was what the FA Cup is all about but should have been 3:00pm and been the main focus of the day.

I'm all for England games of a Friday night though instead of Wednesday giving folk the chance to watch from up north.

Aye 85 quid tickets no concessions.

A lot of the families from Wigan will have spent a months wage on football, tickets and travel the last month.

    Easily.

They either got their facts wrong or were lying to you for some reason.

How about the fact I was going out in York yesterday evening. So the traditional 3pm kick off was fine but I left at 5 to drive up to York. I didn't even realise it wasn't on at 3pm until yesterday morning,
