You do realise we don't ****ing support these premier league clubs don't you?

We don't have the same level of fan base?

So our support of players is based on the circumstances we are in and the level we are playing at.

This group of players, Driven by the likes of Hourihane, Hammill and Winnall, got us promoted from the level we were to the level we now sit. That is incredible and as a fan you should damn well respect that those boys let you enjoy the likes of Newcastle and Villa coming to Oakwell rather than Sheffield United and S****horpe.

You may not like it. But it is because of Winnall and Hourihane in the main that we sit where we do today.

And yes. I would rather watch Conor Hourihane playing for Barnsley than ever have to watch Jordan Henderson play for Liverpool, England or anywhere else his supposed talent is on display.

 

Did I say Conor was a better player? No I didn't. Did you say Conor and the rest of the team had achieved very little? Yes you did. I'm lost for words with you, I really am. It's absolutely laughable the agenda driven rubbish you keep spouting.

Excellent player Burke based on last season especially. Part of an excellent partnership with McCardle. Like our excellent partnerships between, first Mawson and Long, and then Mawson and Roberts. Long and McCardle the experienced professionals. There's as much evidence to suggest Burke will make it at Championship level as there is for Mawson and Roberts. I don't believe the hype about a lot of these fringe premier league players. Anyone remember Neil Whitworth whom we had on loan from Man Utd in the early 90s? Looked a class act. Played about a dozen games for us. And then spent the rest of his days in the bottom 2 divisions, Scotland and non league. I don't know who from BFC will make the step up, but I'm going give them the chance to and put my faith in Hecky and Wright to judge it.
