    to go o/t - I drive from Gawber to Kingstone and back daily via the Penny Pie gyratory (is that the right word?)
    Anyway the timing of the lights is very tight and if a couple of amber gamblers are there at the same time there will be a nasty smash!

    That's a result. Make sure you get it in writing though that the ticket has been cancelled.

    Get a solicitor to write to them....or your MP...it's amazing how they understand when they get a letter or email with parliament.gov.uk on it.
    If you are clearly innocent don't accept the conviction, if you do you must report it to your insurer and the premium will probably go up more than a solicitor's letter.
    Edit...just seen the above !!!...Great stuff.

    Great that you brought that to all on here.
    Good lesson to learn, stick to the rules ,then they can't fill the coffers from the motorists.

    There is a course for offences in lower categories eg traffic light offence ,solid white line, I am well informed now that most police forces are prosecuting on dash cam evidence,if it is uploaded to the Police Web site.
    Hence the guy saying he got a ticket for overtaking cyclist.
    Which law states 1.5 metres 30mph or less.
    2 metres more than 30mph.
    Tbf Paul I have not done these type of courses since 2019.
    There are some fiesty clients on these type of courses.
    I'm more for holding coits these days lol.

    Yep looked like that to me but it's ridiculous for being a second early setting off, although we've seen the ambler gambler ads, still harsh Imo.

    No delay on that sequence, I'm led to beleive 1.5 second into the red phase however depends on the police authority for that region.

    @Youuureds! How did you obtain the images? I have been done (also, I believe unfairly) and asked for evidence.

    They just sent a stock reply saying that all equipment is certified and calibrated and if I wanted evidence I could decline the course or fixed penalty and take it to court. They would present a calibration certificate and images in court.

    I'd love to see what they've got on me.

    Walking down a certain Amsterdam district a couple of years ago there was a red light camera incident. The lady was quite dischuffed....
