I'm willing to pay good prices for beer but the thing that stood out at me the one and only time I went in before the Yeovil game last season was the lack of professionalism. I think Manchester City were playing Arsenal on BT that day but anyway, whoever it was, the score was something like 6-3. Typical Barnsley Football Club, we didn't have BT and showed the Sky game which was a 1-1 thriller between Leicester and Burnley I think. Another was the black of atmosphere. Hopefully stuff like that gets sorted, no matter how picky and I'll be the first in most match days
Would love to be involved and help where I can I can organise bar work for draught lager... If carling of course
Expect a call from Loko tomorrow We've got a few questions about viability of draught lager. Loko's come up with a plan for bitter and keeping it the right temperature and we've also been looking at these taps with built in chillers since: - we haven't got a seller to keep the beer cold - we have to remove all alcohol and equipment when we are done.
Yeah all problems we realise. We're trying to solve all of these. We need the support though if we are to put draught in. We need to be selling all (or most) of it!
I managed to persuade 6 people who'd never been to a Barnsley match before (4 of them to any match before) to go to a few thanks to that.
Sorry tried replying but had some technical problems. I asked Ben a little while ago and it looked like it will continue but we need a new link. Will chase that up now.
I'm an ST member, can I bring my dad in? Or would he have to join as well? Also interested as to whether there's a discount on match day tickets...
We hope to allow members to sign in guests but have to confirm this. There are some requirements that the council have with regards how the bar is operated. (it has to be a members bar) To be on the safe side, sign him up for free at http://bfcst.org.uk/join
This sounds a great idea and full credit to those involved in these changes. I will be signing up today and its great to think any proceeds made will benefit the academy and local charities. I used to frequent other establishments on match days but not any more.
