I was a full supporter this (last?) year, will it automatically renew or do I have to look into doing that?
The decor wants changing drastically. Get a few pictures on the walls, proper bar and decent tables & chairs. Make it look like a bar rather than just a cubby hole under the stand that's no better than the refreshment bars. I was very disappointed with it - thought it would be a bit more up market than that. Only went in the once and reverted back to going to the pub pre-match.
Apologies - just read the other thread where you've got to return it back to a cubby hole every game. Obviously not going to be scope to make it look like a proper bar.
We're going to do our best to make it look less sterile. (see my thread about memorabila). Also trying to source some high tables (you know the ones you stand at). We have got some limitation unfortunately.
I've just signed up for the family membership (me my son and my brother) but I only had the option to fill my details in on the form. Is there something I need to do to get their details to you. Oh and where is this bar?
Hi Hisky, Great work by the Supporters Trust, I'm looking forward to my first bevy on Saturday in Redfearn's! I know there are lots of worth while charities in Barnsley all doing great things, I thought I might as well throw one into the ring. I am a trustee for Royston Animal Welfare, we rescue dogs and cats due to be put to seep in Yorkshire pounds and then re-home them in and around Barnsley to loving families. I re-homed a terrier this morning to a family in Darfield. The charity is run entirely by volunteers, so every penny we raise goes towards the animals we save which includes paying for their keep and any vet fees. We never put animals to sleep unless a vet recommends it due to health issues. We are a registered charity and have been operating for 17 years now. Thanks for any consideration and keep up the great work.
