Might just be me hicksy ? But customer service skills were lacking in my opinion Other than that I enjoyed in redfearns Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've noticed a difference depending on how much pressure she's under. If you get there early doors when it's quiet she's smiling, friendly and there's no problem, but as it starts filling up her mood can change! I guess Doyle's want it shutting at 2:30 so they can redeploy her elsewhere, so I wonder if they'd be happy to leave it with just someone from the Trust on the door after then, providing they stop serving at 2:45. In reality, it's pretty much emptied out by 2:45 anyway, as people are in there for a chat, a pie and a pint or two before the football, rather than an all day session! I have heard quite a few people telling me they were disappointed when they couldn't get in just before 2:30 though, when there's plenty of time for a pint. One thing that we all have to remember too though is that the lads working in there are all doing it for free and generally miss most of the match because they have to tidy it all up inside before the end of the game. This includes clearing and cleaning the bar and clearing the room of all the chairs, tables, pictures, etc. Just about every Trust board member does a shift somewhere around the ground on a match day, as well as other Trust members, all for free and all doing jobs that would be missed if they weren't there. Certainly I wouldn't expect this to change as far as Redfearns bar is concerned, as the club are highly unlikely to start paying for staff when people are willing to do things for free, but on the other hand the fact that it is run by the Trust, rather than the club, it has meant that they have been able to go ahead and bring the beer/pies in that people want and they're not tied up to daft contracts like we are on the concourses. Anyway, it annoys me a little when people are quick to knock the Trust when they don't realise what they do for the club/supporters.
She's not employed for her customer service skills pal. She makes sure that all is in order. She does a good job. Just give her a kiss next time and she'll be fine
After I'd asked to see the wine list and you held up that box of wine, I thought to myself "Don't laugh, it'll only encourage him!". Unfortunately, you made me start giggling like a little school girl!
