    Presume they used most of their summer kitty to land Adam. They'll be **** out if he picks up any sort of long term injury! Or like a lot of players who shine on loan turns out to actually be rubbish.

    I bet he is mates with Hammill. I cannot see us signing him. Who would you drop to the bench - not Foster and not Moore on the evidence of last season. Posh and Forest were both in for him for around one million and his wages were an issue both times. This would not look like prudent use of our limited cash. If we get Hammill - loan or transfer - great. I can actually see him being touted as the next Brian Howard with a roving role to create and score from midfield and I bet he wants to model himself exactly on one S Gerrard. Give him that role and you can see why he wants to come. Good for player and team. Get signed, Adam. In one/two seasons you will be a premiership player (probably not with us, though!)
