    Very good 1st half let's hope we can back it up in the 2nd. I agree about Mcatee the longer he has to think about a chance the worse he gets .

    Imho....yayyyy, that's more like it. Best 45 I can remember this season.
    Credit Conor he's done his home work and the ploy to knock long into wide spaces to outdo their three at the back has had them massively on the back foot.
    Jalo and Humphries have been fantastic and Bolton really are struggling with them.
    I reckon they will change shape second half....and they have to....hopefully we will try play with the same tempo and application but I can see them getting one back. That said we just need to play the same.
    Well done reds, great 45 that.

    Even after battering Bolton first half, us barnsley fans still can't wait to slag players off. Shock

    Anyway, a superb half! MCcarthy not having much to do but looks a lot better in this formation and his passing has been pretty damn good. Flavell with some wonderful passing. Bland playing really well too. Connell and Phillips look like the lads are rejuvenated. Humps looks like a brand new player under Conor!

    And btw - what an excellent free kick routine that was! Simple yet beautiful!

    Well, as everyone else has said, that was just a BRILLIANT performance from front to back. We are tackling hard, intercepting their passes, creating chances, defending where needed (not that Bolton troubled us much there). Is it the formation, the players, the coaching? I don't know and it's a complete mystery why they can perform like that in total contrast to much that has gone before.

    Two superb goals, and could have been more. My fear though is that Bolton will score early on in the second and we will revert to the nervy play that has been seen so often this season. On the other hand, we will hold them off and score again. Then the Bolton fans will be even more on their players' backs than they already are and we will see out a comfortable win.

    So pleased for Fabio today who really looks the business down that right hand side, and Humps has done equally well on the left wing. This is a proper Barnsley performance and I regret bitterly not making the effort to go. I really intended to travel today but then got busy doing other things and then it was too late. Still, never mind - it's a brilliant watch on iFollow so far. More of the same Reds, please!!!:)

    Good 1st half Russell's goal was great if connell scores that some folk would be creaming over it. We'll worked free kick for jalos goal.

    They've created a performance in that first half which should now be the baseline from which they can build.

    Granted jalo has been injured but those two wide is why the board let us down in January by not signing a quality
