Positive performance the third came at the right time wouldn't have wanted there goal to come when it was only two. Them going down to ten helped but he used all his subs because we were controlling the game. Nice to feel Positive on a Saturday night been a while.

It was a pleasure to be there in person today.

That was the blueprint right there. To a man, it was a pleasure to watch.

I don't think Phillips would agree with you. He was absolutely livid when Lembikisa chose to blaze a shot over the bar, when Phillips was in a great position to score.

Yes it was, even from my armchair watching iFollow. I was shouting loudly as the goals went in and, unlike so often this season, they were shouts of joy not annoyance. Luckily I'm home alone for a few days so I could make as much noise as I wanted without alarming my other half :)

Great day and such a shame the crowd was so thin. I know I contributed towards that poor crowd but I live some distance away so that's my excuse. As you say though, this could be the CH blueprint for the future. It seems inevitable to me that he will get the job and I would be very happy with that. I really believe that he genuinely feels a connection with the club and that has to be a good thing going forward. If he gets it and, most importantly, gets proper backing in the summer, I can see us going up next season, and STAYING UP!

Nice to see Barry Cotter get a run out at the end.

Great performance, the best of the season, looked so much better not trying to play with wingbacks who don’t add anything.

Dominated the 1st half, the first 25 minutes in particular they never even saw the ball. We were absolutely controlling it.

Second half they came into the game more but the third goal and then their lad going off made it a comfortable ending too.

Went into town first to the food market then had a couple of pints in the sun before walking to the ground - football doesn’t seem too bad again today.

Imho well done all concerned today really enjoyed that (can't remember saying that too many times this season).
Think I stated at half time that Conor had his tactics spot on, I know its early days but our coach totally "did" the more celebrated coach of the opposition for the whole match too....no turning off on 60 mins either, our application was excellent throughout.
I honestly believe (like a few on here) that Conor has the job anyway....today was a nudge that he "has" the ability to out do the opposition with tactics and inspire the players , both of which has been missing all season.
All players were very good today but my special mentions go to Humphries and Jalo.

Its good that the performance has given fans some positivity for a change. Dont get carried away though. There'll be ups and downs and the recruitment in summer will be massive. I do think Hourihane should get the gig now though. He's done nothing at all wrong for me in spite of some poor results prior to today.

Hard to take too much from that match because Bolton were so awful in the first half.

However, Roberts was immense today, and Jalo exceptional. They all did well to be fair. We threatened to revert to our usual headless tripe for a time in the second half, but them losing a man took the wind out of their sails.

There may be a few green Hourihane shoots, popping out of the weeds of his previous games in charge.

Great result & it sounds like an equally impressive performance! Which of course is great to hear!

We should just announce CH now, be transparent with our inentions, let him have a crack, no pressure, the aim solely rebuilding for a promotion push after next season.

Unfortunately this great performance coincides with me reluctantly accepting that we may not get into the play offs.

You probably won't be watching him in a Barnsley Shirt Chairman's already said the better players WILL be sold in the summer to balance the books DKD, Phillips, Jalo, Connell are probably the ones we will get offers for.

But he won't be given the time to develop into a good player for us will he, the first sniff of an offer and he'll be sold. He'll be another John Stones with reds fans watching on thinking what could have been. We will be lucky to keep him until next January given what the chairman as said about selling the better players in the summer.

No because we won't finish in the top 4, at the end of a season you finish where you deserve to finish
