The only highlight was that little girl in the crowd, picking her nose then sinking it into her mouth.
Hoping for Peterborough and us in the final Wednesday on 96 points not enough that’s rather unfortunate would be even more unfortunate if they are beaten by a team 20 points worse off than them over the season
Yeah, the Derby who sang "We'll never play you again". That one. **** em. Worried about our lack of form but rather satisfied with the outcome of today's matches. A rematch at Wembley with Posh would be a rather good day out.
Irrespective of resting players etc because we had already booked a playoff spot. We have lost all momentum. I fear that will cost us against Bolton now which is a shame. We’ll go out with a whimper now. Still a good season mind, but oh what could have been.
Agree. Today means nothing. But putting today to one side, we have been clearly off the boil for a few weeks now. We are not firing like we were in March and are probably the team in worst form going into the play offs. I just hope we get through the semis against Bolton because I'd love another day out at Wembley. But, and this won't be a popular opinion, I don't think we are ready for a return to the Championship and, subject to Michael Duff staying, another season building at this level would in my opinion do us more good than poxing our way through the play offs and getting mullered every week in the Championship next season, to come straight back down again. If we do make it up, we are going need to rebuild half the team to stand any chance. Beginning to appreciate the view that playing the home leg second is not an advantage. There is a reasonable chance it could be all over bar the shouting before we get Bolton back to our place.
We need to sort out the right hand side William's and Phillip's spending most of the first half trying to tell Cotter where should be. Poor lad didn't know if he was coming or going.
I don't think we can afford not to go up. Even after selling Morris, helik, Woodrow and Brittain the owners have still had to inject millions (twice) this season to keep the club viable. Who are they going to sell this summer to stop them having to inject at least double that money again to fund a third division club?
Second favourites with every bookies behind the massives. We are a better side than Peterborough, despite todays result. They weren’t interested to be fair. Bolton I think is a very sticky tie. But I think we are just favourites.
I don't quite understand why he was asked to move/leave. Doesn't he have the right, as a neutral, to come & watch a football match? Just makes us look really tinpot.
Must have been because he took over baby sitting duties for a while. He carried the tot out onto the field with him before kick off
