Terrible, inconsistent is an understatement, they were very physical and he just allowed them to continue assaulting our players and fell for their theatrics, 3 only

Easily swayed by the crowd and how easy Bolton fell to the floor.

Not only did they change the referee before kick-off they changed again shortly afterwards with Bolton's number 8 Sheehan taking over subsequent decision-making duties. Frankly unbelievable that a foul wasn't given on Kane before the goal, particularly given what was being given the other way. Extreme gullibility to be conned into Connell's yellow and generally consistently inconsistent.

Yet if you listen to Evatt and their forum, we had the ref on our side and were overly physical.
Although they do concede Iredale was lucky not to be booked for his double foul.

Seen a clip of McAtee being brought down when through on goal. As clear a foul as you could see but ref knew if he gave it the Bolton player had to go. Completely bottled it.
