    I’ve given him a 5 for letting things go for both sides but would have gone higher had he given the penalty on Cosgrove and added at least an extra four minutes to the five indicated. Bolton, understandably, took as long as they could get away with over every situation in their control and the ref let them get away with it.

    Better than most we’ve had this season and a shame he wasn’t there Friday night to disallow two of their goals. Still, who wanted to go to Wembley anyway??
