    Calling ref’s excellent when all they’ve done, is at best, is to have an ok game. The stamp that led to the bit of a melee only got penalised with a yellow card for players on both sides. Some tasty ‘tackles’ unpunished. A few ‘ sympathy’ decisions for them towards the end. In my opinion it just goes to show how poor the standard of officiating has been this season when the performance by the ref yesterday is described as excellent or the best we’ve had.

    Ben Toner. Did the Pizza Trophy final and missed the second most obvious red card of the season, surpassed only by the pillock at Burton on Good Friday.
