Like for like..........at current valuations

Brian Howard is valued at £3 Million
Frank Lampard is valued at something in the order of £25 Million

But according to some on here...............Brian is the better player..............


All down to economics..............we have a far far better squad than we did 18 months ago.....(we can gauge this on the valuation of some of the players in the current squad)...........FACT (Y)

We don't know the exact figure Barnsley got him for but say it was only half that
From this compare how much did we get for ALL (and there was a shed load of um) the offloads of the Ritchie squad........you tell me
Add to this the newspapers valuation of Makan, Muller and Nyatanga.........

Better still...............go to Pat Cryne next time you see him and say this............."I think the squad we had with Ritchie was worth more than the squad we have now"

and Howard is worse than Odejayi, cos Oddjob cost more !!

A player is only worth what someone will pay for them. Just because Simon Davey was willing to pay £400,000 for Mostto does not make him a better striker than Macken who cost less, thats just crazy logic.

 

Sorry but newspaper reports are rubbish. So you are saying that de silva's value when we signed him was double what we paid for him? Derby must be **** at business. Either that or you don't know what you're talking about.
