    If the 'board' dont support a manager

    in these kinds of decisions, then they will reap what they sow. A dressing room has to be together and the manager should do anything and everything to make it so. Thats what a 'board' ask, and keeping someone in the wings just in case undermines the managers ability to do his job.

    But the dressing room isn't 'together' and this manager ...

    ..... is the reason why.

    In general, I agree with your comments about backing the manager rather than a player etc, but not in our situation, we have gone past that stage
