    If there really is a person out there for everybody then I feel sorry for the poor lovely person thats got her raffle ticket. Not only will she stink and squash you when she's on top but it'll cost you about 100 quid a day in takeaways.</p>

    I suppose you'd be safe on a night out though.</p>

    The club are saying that Davey hasn't really featured ...

    .... in the contract talks, so the conversation wouldn't have been between Howard and Davey would it?

    From what I've heard, that is exactly what Howard and his Agent have said/requested, but they were told by the club that they weren't willing to meet his terms (and his demands are less than what Sheff Utd are willing to pay him by the way) and it appears they want to get shut, to cash in on him

    Of course the clubs official statement said nothing like that, but it wouldn't would it? because they want to lay all the blame for Howard's departure on Howard, and put themselves in a good light with the fans

    No, I don't think it would have involved SD. I'd assume, that SD merely says he wants to offer a player a new contract and the "board" go ahead and discuss it. Perhaps the players demands are run by the manager to check his opinion and the affect on the budget and the rest of the team. But from what I understand, BH was not the top esrner at the club and others had come in on more than him. One being a second choice keeper.

    And, yes. Of course it has to be the players fault. I'd imagine the actual lies somewhere in between. Professional people could and should have resolved this situation in the summer. It was always going to come after Howard's season last seaosn and the crowing that was done about him. It's a fact...footballers often think they are better and worth more than they are, or at least what a club thinks they are worth.

    Whichever way you look at it, it's a complete mess ...

    ...... I just hope that common sense prevails in that if Davey is going to be sacked soon, lets at least keep Howard until the new manager takes up his post. If we are keeping Davey (god help us), then it's obviously all over at BFC for Howard
