I'm not desperately trying to change your mind

Your opinion on this is your own. It probably is petty. I'm just not comfortable being watched for reasons that completely escape me.

    Sorry Durkar

I don't think I'm going to die over this. You could vote for both just on the off chance though.

    Fair enough.

I, on the other hand, feel the most important thing in my life is to change your mind.

    I don't get out much.

    Nor I

Although I've get to get back outside to finish painting the shed. It's a non stop roller coaster this life innit.

Personally I don't think it matters a toss what we think. Through long experience I know that site admin will do what they want on this. This site isn't and never has been a democracy and neither should it be.
I only complain that "consultation" is just an excuse for guilt. That is the guilty feeling of removing a degree of freedom of speech on very thin grounds (or having been coerced into doing so). This may sound harsh but as far as I'm concerned one of the main reasons for coming on here in the first place is just about to disappear.
Someone earlier talked about fear stalking this board at the moment. Perhaps "registration only" is seen as the prosac that can remove the fear. Looks like we are destined for controlled thinking and numb happiness.

Doesn't seem to have gone too badly does it?

And it's good to have an admin team who are interested in what the rest have to say.

    Silent majority

The majority of users currently on line are guests.

Why not ask them what they think?

    Oh er

Finally ... the voice of reason

it wont be too long before this site will be as much use as the official one was. Only difference being an 'elite' group will be deciding who is acceptable, rather than the club.

its a shame ... been a cracking site over the years [IMG]

    Seems fair to me

Doesn't cost to register so I fail to see a problem with it.

    Stick with it

A bit less of hiding behind false names benefits the community IMHO
