I was going to say one game at a time, but finding out when those games in hand on us are played is really useful. .... and the sooner the better.
That's twice I've seen home form mentioned. We've lost once at home in 12 weeks? I know we've drawn a couple recently, but you wouldn't be mentioning home form at all if it wasn't for the outstanding run away from home.
Not won in three at home, which would get a mention from a team looking to finish in the top 6. In those three games we have 2 points and 2 goals, one was a penalty and one turned out to be a consolation. Our home games have become a lot more attritional, as teams look for the ball over the top against us, to negate any pressing. Granted, in the end, we should've beaten Reading, given the chances we had after the Joao miss. But goals have become a bit harder to come by at home recently, and Middlesbrough will set out to be difficult to beat. Saturday could prove to be the most difficult game of the last 6.
Really does depend. It's a three game stretch but the 12 week stretch is a lot more impressive. I certainly don't think we've a home form issue right now. Obviously a defeat against Boro starts to make things look different, but heading in to that it feels a bit of a reach.
Not claiming too much of an issue, but given how difficult games have been at home (even our last home win was an attritional game, with one moment of magic), state of the pitch, teams altering approach etc.. and what I'd expect from Boro, it makes me think it would be a very difficult game.
