Remember I said I might blog about my holiday?

You're not stuck on it though. It arrives at a new port every morning, crack of dawn. Up to you then whether to go into that place for a wander, or venture further on a train yourself (like we did to Monaco) or via coach on a paid excursion (like we did to Florence/Rome).

We were up early every morning and never got back until early evening, so little time spent on the ship really. On a night we'd watch a show (all very good they were). And the all inclusive meant you had waiters always bringing you ale when you wanted.

It's been decommissioned this ship though, finishes in October (it's knocking on to be fair) so they're replacing it with another they've bought off Royal Caribbean. The one we've just been on was about 600ft long, this new un is nearly 900ft long, so just a few feet longer than the Titanic. Royal Caribbean have a few that are over 1,200ft long. And carry five times the passengers we had onboard ours. Me and r lass aren't into that malarkey. We enjoyed the little un, less informal, more homely and much cheaper. :)

I would recommend a cruise to anyone.

It was the stories of the formality that put me off. It does sound as though cruise holidays are very different these days.

Not bad video that pal. Few too many shots of your ugly mug but aye, looks like you had a good time.

I was ordered to remove the majority of her indoors, so it does sort of appear I went on my own.
