Could have got the train with me Wellingborough to Leicester Leicester to Sheffield Sheffield to Barnsley Oh I am looking forward to the train into Sheffield on the way home, will be an absolute nightmare
RE: Could have got the train with me you wont be allowed on the same train. Unless your tickets are pre booked **** off up town for a couple of hours.
RE: Have you bought train tickets? Actually if we were to lose a lift back to Northamptonshire would be fantastic You travel to many games? I'm getting the train to Wolves New Years Day
RE: Damn BBS Fecked if i know where that is then. I never think of here as 'darn sarf' always try and make people think its the 'midlands' but maybe I am just a big dirty southerner (but still a very proud Barnsley fan!)
Well do you want my number? Could try and sort summat if you want. Mind you I have to make a stop off at my Nans in Pogmoor before we go home, but I'm wanting to make it a pretty quick visit. Got the girlfriend coming down the same day so want to see her asap! I don't travel to many from here, as I'm usually in Preston. We did drive up for the Burnley game though. I'm working on coverting my sister into a fully fledged Barnsley fan! Then again, I'll be permanently back when I finish in May, so next year I'll be going from here as often as possible, and travelling up with someone else is a damn site better than having to suffer the train journey alone
Sunday service? I must be completely mistaken then. I'm running a pub in Higham, also one in Isham. You've got it bang about places like Rushden and Wellingborough, absolute nightmare place to live, don't plan on been around for too long. Cranfords a nice place, Burton latimers not too bad either
RE: Damn BBS Really not too well. Is that where you're family are based? Like I said, I only really went there for football...went I played for Thrapston Town Juniors (get me!) we played them in our little 'weetabix league' every year for 5/6 years.
RE: Well do you want my number? Feel a bit cheeky saying I only want a lift home if we lose, but truth be known the quicker I get home the earlier I have to start work, and if we win I plan on getting home as late as possible (home been the pub). If its ok send me your number in a pm and I'll give you a buzz after the match
RE: Damn BBS The main road from wellingboro to Northants...big cross roads outside earls barton. Turn Right.
RE: Well do you want my number? To be honest it wouldn't really be much of a problem, just have to put up with a 20 year old (me) and my 18 year old sister and our music!
18 year old sister? Count me in! Only joking mate! I sit in East Stand upper if you're about at half time, usually meet the London Tykes so they'll be a fair few of us, and if you get into Barnsley early enough call in the Gatehouse for a pint and introduce yourself. I'll send you a text before kick off so you've got my number
Haha I'll be in the Ponty...East stand upper was always where I had my season ticket (well family bit with my dad) but always go in the Ponty since. I'd love to nip in before hand, it'd be good to meet people, I'll have to see how we're doing for time, again have to nip to my Nans briefly to collect my tickets from my Mum (who's visiting) before the game. I've met the London Tykes before, been on the same train once or twice, but they wouldn't remember me I'm sure. I was sat with em whilst they were all getting pissed.
RE: Haha If you've met them a couple of times on the train chances are you've met me as well, especially if alcohols involved! If there was ever one of us who obviously hated Leeds United more than the others then that would have been me, its kind of obvious. Oh and the fact I'm the youngest of the London Tykes at 23! Lol
