    Still difficult to process he’s not here, it feels like 2 minutes ago when we had a hug after the play off game against Swansea at Oakwell. Luckily able to tell him I loved him as he left, not knowing I would never see him again.

    I know you all know him as Eric the footballer, but he was a great Dad and my best mate. We had such a laugh together because he was funny as hell, and just a lovely bloke to be around.

    Always had time for Barnsley fans, and anyone that would want to talk football.

    Sorting out some old programmes last week and came across the one from the Watford game. Needless to say that one was put to one side with others from “special” matches.

    One of my first BFC Hero's in the late 60's, I was absolutely gutted when he went to Chesterfield......but he came back, true legend
