Bloody young team against a much more experienced Huddersfield team. a bit disapointed with the score though.
Here they are BARNSLEY: Scarsella Harban Laight Atkinson Meynell Heslop Wroe Batley Loukes Joynes Jarman Subs: Naylor Jordan Holt Potter Wyatt. HUDDERSFIELD TOWN: Senior Hardy, Lloyd Fowler Clarke McCombe Young Collins McAliskey Mendes Carss Subs: Biddle Eastwood Walls Highley Hand
RE: Bloody young team Mendes Carss and Fowler. The 5 subs were all academy products too. You have a decent academy too don't you. I don't recognise the names of many of your team, so I assume they are mostly academy products too. Good to know that Yorkshire clubs can still get hold of decent youngsters before they get poached by the Man U's.
Colleague of mine supports Udders and said that was a very experienced Huddersfield reserve side. Witnessed the game and up to half time lads were doing OK. Problem was man for man Udders looked bigger/stronger than our lads. Like Tarmey sez on made site looks bad on the defence, but that kid Lait looks ok, one his his personal battles, looks composed on the ball and can actually pass the ball for a defender. Atkinson OK too, Nick Wroe looked as though he could not be arsed, perhaps sulking cos he ain't been starting for 1st team. Problem was that Reds side was too young, should have had some experienced pros in there to help the kids. I mean what are Vaughan, Conlon and Hassell doing for a living? I'm sure the lads will be encouraged by your comments......
