You are right, there are plenty of people on Spotify that have convictions for stuff like that. I guess if they were overtly abusing their power to directly influence someone on something then it would be a similar problem. I'm sure if R Kelly was telling people in his podcast how ace it was to go out and abuse underage girls then that would get removed too. Listening to Ignition Remix however isn't likely to influence them into becoming a paedophile etc etc.
Having thought about it more, I guess my problem is more about being disappointed that people would be influenced by someone such as him. I'm not sure I want a nanny state though. It saddens me that our society is like it is now but if people want to do that then that's their problem isn't it? I've changed my mind.
Not sure if this is true but I just saw a post on Twitter saying Joe Rogan was at some event and left the stage "to keep on rockin in the free world" Amusing if accurate.
