Went to the match last night as had been darn sarf for work and was staying relatively nearby. Lively entertaining match, for good periods RNL was the best player on the pitch for either team. Looks to be gaining confidence and sod belief and on that performance would be an ideal replacement for our misfiring wingers should Williams depart. Rochdale matched MK Dons and looked a much better side than when we played them.
Don't think anyone has ever doubted his ability - I've doubted whether he could be arsed or had the confidence to be a Football League player.
He needs to either (a) come back, be given a chance and perform regularly, or (b) move on. Nothing Inbetween is any good for either party. Either way good luck RNL.
Just needs to be stopped being played in defensive positions by numerous managers. Have him as part of the front two with Winnall or just behind Winnall and Cole or Trotta centrally. Keep him away from the wing and especially away from left back.
Hope we see him back playing for us . Jennings and treacy out of form, Williams and Cole maybe going back so we will need him
