I dont remember voting for any unicorns, what I thought I was voting for was an end to free movement from the eu, the freedom to make our own trade deals, and to self governance rather than eu law. I’m prepared for that to come at a price because short term I think we’ll have some pain but I also think that in time the eu will want to re negotiate otherwise other countries will follow suit.

    Or, you know, we’re working.

Their posts are plain stupid and I’ve never heard anything as daft in my life.

Just because you did, doesn't mean that all 17.4 million people did. You cant be in such denial that you think every single one of them had the exact same view as to what Brexit meant as you did - you're surely not that daft.

You only need to look at the google trends the day after the referendum... "What is the EU?" was the second top UK question. It literally take a small percentage of them people to have a very different thought process on what leave 'meant' to have changed their mind.

1 million people took to the streets in favour of revoking article 50, over 5 million people have signed the online petition. Compare that to the few people following Farage on his country pub crawl.

The people deserve a second chance to confirm that leaving really is what they want. If they do, then fair enough they do. if they don't then the madness needs to stop. Either way, democracy would remain in tact.

Dunno suggesting a black woman undertakes cultural sensitivity training for making black jokes comes close.

5 million people voting how many times and from where? Brussels by any chance. ???We cant have another vote for the reasons I’ve already stated. The madness you speak of is undermining the democratic process we’ve been through once already, and whats mad about striking your own trade deals, making your own laws, deciding who can and cant come to your country?? Dies tgat mean that every country in the wirld outside the eu subscribe to madness deliberately ?? I doubt very much that a million attended the rally but if they did fair play to them. We voted leave, and leave we must. Mays current deal is nothing more than remain in another name which is why she’s getting nowhere.

I don’t think I’ve ever explained my personal pronouns to you so please ask me first before referring to me with ‘his’.

For clarification though I do use the pronouns him/his so luckily you were correct in your assertion. Just be careful in future please.

There’s a chance some of them could be in Brussels... along with any other city in any EU country... that’s one of the many benefits of being in the EU! The numbers show that 95%+ of the votes came from within the UK. So even with your silly theories there’s still over 5 million people signing the petition from within the UK.

We can have another vote if it’s the will of the people - and I, along with many others, believe that’s what should happen.

Leave means Leave and Brexit means Brexit are pure sound bites from people who wish to ignore the fact that it makes us poorer. You noticeably failed to respond to the fact that lots of people googled the day after the referendum ‘what is the EU?’ Again.. funny that.

And why are my theories silly ? 5% of votes from outside the uk then ? So thats a quarter of a million votes potentially from folk who have no right to, and how many millenials have joined the 100 votes club my daughter subscribed to at uni last week !? The will of the people was to leave the eu. Not to keep debating and voting until the minority got what they wanted. You seem to be getting a bit wound up Watford so I tjink I’ll leave it there. Have a lovely evening.

1.2 million people born in UK live outside UK in other EU countries including me - and I have every right to vote.

I work at the coal face of one of the government departments entrusted to carry out Brexit (however it comes about). The country isn't in any way prepared for no deal. The government since enacting article 50 hasn't spent a penny on infrastructure spending. Instead carried on cutting budgets.

This is why all plans lead to the military being required, per media reports. Why in any sane functioning government would bunkers be required? Why are all of our major services are on annual leave embargoes, soon to be extended?

Hardly rational thinking, no plan, no idea.

But I forgot it's all about the blue passports and street parties. Soon spam will be back on the menu and folk will spontaneously start to sing either the national anthem or Dame Vera classics. What's that a spitfire overhead?!

Also why have we got someone referring to a skin colour as "mucky shitty brown" How is this thread not been deleted its just rife now.

Quote " I have chosen not to have any children " , and this is the net result of your choice

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...or-hungarian-women-with-four-or-more-children

Do you see now why eastern Europe are getting fed up of their young getting poached to cover people such as yourself ? Of course when you retire a replacement worker will be needed . Pensions / adult social care don't come cheap , but again the way you ve lived your life has unwittingly created nationalism in other areas of Europe ......... Lol

the mucky shitty brown colour was hypothetical in reference to mr rogue traders vision of the future. This after telling me there should and will no longer be any white people and white people breed all manor of foul beasts and that you cannot be racist to white people
i asked him if he would be happy that one day we were all that colour,it certainly was not a reference to anyone or any race

i still find it mystifying that i get dragged over the coals for a hypothetical, tongue in cheek comment that was in retaliation to some of the most bizarre and openly racist comments i've ever heard, yet our resident posters have left this pillock alone

i get reported by one poster, yet she refers to him as plain daft, like i say proper mystifying, maybe if he'd been a advocate of leave then the reaction to his outbursts would have been different.
